Make Music Chicago is a completely free, one-day music festival presented by Rush Hour Concerts. This year, it returns for its second annual event on the first day of summer, Thursday, June 21! Make Music Chicago celebrates the ability of everyone to make music. Age, ability level and genre do not matter. Everyone can come and join! This year Navy Pier and the Chicago Children’s Museum are proud to present a day of free music and activities for all visitors!

Dueling Pianos featuring Dario Radio
At the Landshark Beer Garden (located toward the east end of the Pier)
Dario Radio has a full network of dueling pianists with a complete array of music selections. All your favorite hits and guilty pleasures will be played by request! Even the most ridiculous requests will be attempted, and who knows, you might even be a part of the show!
In its inaugural year in 2011, over 10,000 people experienced live music at 35 sites all over the city. This year, Make Music Chicago will spread across the city to over 75 sites and is always free to both audiences and musicians alike, and no tickets are required for any of the events! After you check out the events at Navy Pier and the Children’s Museum, be sure to check out performances at other sites citywide, including: Daley Plaza, Millennium Park, both Apple stores (Michigan Avenue and North Avenue), Macy’s State Street, John Hancock Center, Museum Campus, Northerly Island and over 25 Chicago Park District sites, among many others.
