Ferris Wheel

The first must see on our list is the Ferris Wheel. The Ferris Wheel in Pier Park has been a Chicago landmark since it first opened many years ago and is a great attraction for kids of all ages! This 7-minute ride has 40 gondolas, each seating up to 6 passengers, which is a great size for families. As you cruise up this 150 foot tall attraction you will be mesmerized by the beautiful views of the Chicago lakefront.

 

Harry Caray’s Tavern

Harry Caray’s Tavern at Navy Pier is another one of Chicago’s big names which is one of many reasons why it is the perfect location to enjoy your lunch or dinner at Navy Pier. This family-friendly, sports themed hot-spot is located near the main entrance to the Pier and offers an extensive menu sure to please everyone. With indoor and outdoor seating you can either enjoy your time inside or dine at the outdoor patio and enjoy the view of Lake Michigan.

 

Navy Pier Signature Store

There is no doubt that you will enjoy your time spent at Navy Pier and what better way to remember it than with some souvenirs? The Navy Pier Signature Store has everything from apparel to gifts and collectibles. The shop is located at the far end of the Pier and houses the largest selection of Navy Pier branded merchandise in the Chicagoland area.

 

Landshark Beer Garden

The Landshark Beer Garden is the perfect place to spend your afternoon or evening while at Navy Pier. Get together with your friends and family and unwind with a cold drink as you enjoy the scenic, outdoor atmosphere. Fireworks Cruise

The best way to end your day at the Pier is to view the summer fireworks display. Hop aboard one of the Shoreline Sightseeing Fireworks Cruises to experience a front-row seat. Boating docks are located on the west-end of the Pier. Fireworks displays are shown every Wednesday and Saturday night throughout the summer. If you’re visiting Navy Pier on a day without fireworks, end your day on one of the Night Architecture Cruises instead. Along the route your guide will take you past dozens of iconic skyscrapers by some of the world’s most famous architects.
