Halloweeum at Navy Pier! | CCM

Everyone’s favorite spooky holiday is back and the Chicago Children’s Museum is throwing a party! And it’s not just any party! The Chicago Children’s Halloweeum Party lasts an entire month!

Are you wondering what the Museum’s got in store for you? They have hours after hours of Halloween fun created with the entire family in mind!

To help you plan out your Halloweeum agenda, here’s a weekly schedule:

Mondays through Fridays at 11:15 a.m., come by and get a special Halloween Face Painting! Whether you’re in the mood for something creepy (a big spider) or something pretty (a beautiful butterfly), the museum has everything you need to create a perfect design!

Fridays through Sundays at 2:30 p.m., create a one-of-a-kind Pumpkin Patch Pal. Best part of all: no messy clean-up required and you can take home to display!

Fridays through Sundays at 4 p.m., join in on a Monster Mash Dance Party. Put on your scariest Halloween costume or your best Halloween sweater and dance the afternoon away with all the other party goers!

If you’re still searching for that perfect costume, why not make your own? Nearly every day of the week, the Kraft Artabounds Studio will be hosting Halloween Costume Making workshops. Get out the safety scissors, the glitter, and the glue, and get ready to create something absolutely remarkable!

And on October 18-21 only, stop by the Museum for an extra special hour-long class with local costume maker extraordinaire, Anna Glowacki. Anna will lead students through the kooky process of making a Halloween accessory. Need a space helmet to complete that astronaut costume? Or a Toto for your Dorothy costume? The sky is the limit in this hands-on workshop!

When you come by for the big Halloweeum party, don’t forget to stop by the Spooky Backyard display. Pumpkins, cobwebs, and spiders have taken over the exhibit and transformed it into a Halloween playground!

Don’t miss out on any of the Halloweeum activities! Pack up the kids and come down to the Chicago Children’s Museum today; all activities are free with CCM admission!
