In the last couple months, Harry Caray’s Tavern at Navy Pier has brought you two weeks of Oktoberfest, a terrific concert by Blues Traveler, Sundays and Mondays (and even a Thursday) full of Bears tailgating bliss, and now they’re excited to tell you all about their Halloween plans.
Now through October 31, stop by a completely transformed Harry Caray’s Tavern (watch out for all the cobwebs, goblins, and tombstones) and celebrate Halloween! There’s a little bit of something for everyone!
Send the kids off on Harry’s Halloween Scavenger Hunt! See if they can follow the clues to find photos hidden among Harry’s Wall of Fame and the Chicago Sports Museum to win a prize. If they get stuck, there’s always Harry’s How Cow! Mascot to help them out!
On the weekends, kids can get creative with the frosting and sprinkles and decorate their own gigantic pumpkin cookies! At $3 per cookie, it’s quite the deal.
And of course Harry’s hasn’t forgotten Mom and Dad! Through Halloween, try one of Harry Caray’s Spooktacular Cocktails. Looking for something rich to warm you up? A Hayride (RumChata and Sobieski Karamel Vodka with a salted rim) will do the trick! Miss that old tradition of Bobbing for Apples? Order the cocktail with the same name (Crown Royal, Apple Pucker, and cranberry juice with a Halloween Peep). Got a hankering for something new and different? Try the Zombie (Bacardi Light Rum, Myer’s Dark Rum, Apricot Brandy, orange juice, pineapple juice, Grenadine, and a splash of Bacardi 151 with lime and a gummy worm).
Don’t forget about all of Harry Caray’s scary good menu options like Bill Kurtis’s Grass-Fed Tallgrass Chili (perfect food for a chilly day), Loaded Waffle Fries, and Tavern Burger.
And when you’ve finished lunch or dinner, make sure you check out all the great festivities happening at all over Navy Pier at the annual Really Big Halloween Party!
