Everyone knows Navy Pier does things big and this Halloween is no different! Come out on Saturday, October 26 for a big spectacle of fireworks over Lake Michigan! As Navy Pier’s firework season is coming to a close, you don’t want to miss out on one of the last shows! Under the lit-up Halloween sky, a spooky synchronized, dramatic soundtrack will be playing for this week of witches, werewolves and monsters.
Experience fireworks in Chicago on a Shoreline Sightseeing Cruise! The fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m. but the cruises set sail a little earlier! There are two different ways to watch the show from the water:
- 75-minute Architecture Fireworks Cruise – departing from Navy Pier, this spooky nighttime trip will take you down the historic Chicago River highlighting the glimmering skyscrapers and skyline. The cruise, with a cash bar on board, will end under the fireworks display for an up-close and beautiful view of the show.
- 60-minute Fireworks Cruise – Also departing from Navy Pier, soak in the famous panorama of Chicago’s skyline as this ship cruises an approximate 6-mile loop ending under the Halloween Fireworks show.
Another way to enjoy the fireworks and get in the Halloween mood is with the Mystic Blue Yacht masquerade! The party will
be held under Chicago’s skyline with a special Halloween Fireworks cruise. Pull out your best black tie or cocktail attire and top it off with a mask for the complete look! Prizes will be awarded for the best-dressed man, woman and couple. Get your tickets and details here!
If just fireworks aren’t enough, book your tickets for a Seadog Chicago Haunted Cruise! Learn from their experienced tour guides about Chicago’s architecture and the scandals that go along with some of the most famous buildings! The tour starts at 6 p.m. Fridays through Sundays, which will give you plenty of time to discover Chicago’s haunted history and get back to the Pier in time to watch the fireworks show. Sounds like a fun-filled evening, doesn’t it?
Of course, the best views of the fireworks are from our very own Pier! Grab a hot chocolate from one of our restaurants and enjoy the explosions and grab a seat right outside.
Wherever you decide to go October 26th, don’t miss the beautiful Chicago sky illuminated one last time this season!
