EDM and house music fans: Where else can you hear a free EDM live DJ show in Chicago this weekend? We’ll tell you: nowhere but Navy Pier and the Landshark Beer Garden! This Saturday, September 14 from 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., six Chicago DJs will be spinning live every hour on the hour outside on the lakefront.
The party kicks-off at 5 p.m. with AJ streamed live from Dubai via Mixify, a never-ending online music festival where you can see live DJ sets in action through video and audio feeds. While you’re at Navy Pier, two TV monitors will be set up on both sides of the stage so you can check out AJ, one of Mixify.com’s top DJs of the year.
Following AJ’s set, and every hour after that, a different DJ will take their turn at the decks on the Landshark Beer Garden stage.
The headliner, Milk N Cookies , are identical twin brother DJs and EDM producers who began their music career in 2009 at the University of Illinois. They’ve played in Chicago most recently at North Coast Music Festival, June’s Spring Awakening and the popular nightclub the Mid. They’ve put their own spin on everything from Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” to Martin Garrix’s “Animals.” This duo has quickly amassed a large fan base and EDM Superstar Hardwell played their “Animals” remix at Electric Zoo in New York City.
Saturday’s line-up will include:
AJ: 5pm – 6pm (live stream from Dubai)
Barry Good: 6 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Mateo: 7 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Guy & Hoss: 8 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Moehawk: 9 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Milk N Cookies: 10 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
The Landshark Beer Garden will also be open with snacks and their signature Landshark lager, as well as other cold brews.
Whether you’re dancing your heart out or relaxing to these hot beats, we look forward to seeing you Saturday in the Landshark Beer Garden at Navy Pier for Drop the Beat!
