Navy Pier has been a must-do Chicago destination since 1916, so you may need a refresher course on everything we have to offer. With exhibits and shows constantly changing, you might not even be aware of all there is to do at the Pier. Get ready, because Navy Pier’s attractions are abundant and full of amusement.

Pier Park is home to rides and activities for fun-lovers of all ages. The famous Navy Pier Ferris Wheel, reminiscent of the first Ferris wheel debuted at the 1893 World Columbian Exposition in Chicago, offers passengers stunning views of Chicago. Other rides include the Wave Swinger, a 48-seat swing ride that also provides riders with an incomparable view of Lake Michigan; the Light Tower Ride, which bounces riders up and down; and the Carousel, created to resemble a similar ride that was at Navy Pier in the 1920s. Other activities such as The Links Mini Golf and remote control boats sit on the landscape of Pier Park.

Continue the fun and games at Amazing Chicago’s Funhouse Maze, where you can get lost in The Maze, or run around during games of Time Freak and Atomic Rush. Chicago Children’s Museum, also located at Navy Pier, offers kids three floors of activities. Watch your young ones join the circus at Cirkus Zirkus, a special exhibit that allows kids to be acrobats, juggle, or help out behind the scenes or get seriously silly at The Laugh Shack, a comedy club just for kids inside CCM through Labor Day.

Feel free to explore the surrounding areas, both by land and by water. Bike and Roll Chicago at Navy Pier offers bicycle and skate rentals. Wheel around on your own or as part of one of the tours. If you prefer to travel by water, explore the lake on a jet ski tour through Jet Skis at the Pier or via one of our many boat cruises.

Entertainment is abundant at Navy Pier. Check out some live theatre at the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, a courtyard-style venue with a beautiful lobby, bar, and view of Chicago. You can still get tickets to see Seussical before the end of its run. Currently on the Pepsi® Skyline Stage, Cirque Shanghai: Warriors combines acrobatics with martial arts for a magnificent performance, including an act from China’s premier motorcycle troupe. And of course, the IMAX Theatre is always showing movies, from blockbusters to documentaries, on Chicago’s largest flat screen.

Get moving on the weekends with Rise & Shine Weekends at Navy Pier. We offer group exercise classes every Saturday and Sunday through August 31. Join us on Saturdays for yoga, or get dancing on Sundays with Zumba classes, taught by instructors from Fitness Formula Clubs.

End any Wednesday or Saturday this summer with fireworks at Navy Pier. It’s a beautiful way to see Chicago light up from the dock of the city’s most beloved pier.
