Independent Garden Show | Navy Pier

On August 21-23, Navy Pier will be home to the Independent Garden Show, the world’s largest educational resource for garden centers.

 

The IGC show serves as a source of inspiration for legions of garden center professionals who travel from all over the country to learn about new products, new ideas and meet face-to-face with other garden enthusiasts and professionals. For six years, the IGC is the best place to learn from the industry’s thought-provoking leaders, trend-setters and rising stars and the stunning setting at Navy Pier adds to the excitement.

 

Exhibitors and Events

This year, over 1,000 exhibitors will fill the Pier for all the exciting events. The Chicago Garden Center Tour will take place on Monday, August 20 to get you excited and inspired for the days to come. On Tuesday, opening ceremonies will take place to officially start the Garden Show followed by the first keynote speaker.

 

Wednesday the 22nd will hold more keynote speakers as well as the IGC Classic Rock Series, featuring Dennis DeYoung from STYX. Dennis DeYoung: The Music of STYX showcases the greatest hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s performed live with the founding member and his six-member band. The show is free to all IGC exhibitors and members and a pre-concert party will take place before the show for members to enjoy.

Speakers and Expert Advice

Thursday morning the final keynote speaker will present followed by a networking luncheon. Throughout the week’s events, the exhibit hall will be open for guests to discover all that the IGC has to offer. Guests can explore new products while getting inspired by those in this vibrant industry and visitors will be able to further their businesses with the useful information gathered at the IGC.
