It's the final weekend for the Chicago Flower & Garden Show!It’s cold outside. But just snap your fingers and spring will appear, here at Navy Pier! We’ll green up your St. Patrick’s Day weekend with the Chicago Flower & Garden Show’s magnificent display gardens, full line-up of sensational seminar speakers and delicious “Garden Gourmet” cooking demonstrations.

“The Art of Gardening” is a veritable crayon box bursting with color, creativity, and new ideas you’ll use for years to come! You can also bring home an armful of spring – Mariano’s Fresh Market has stunning, fragrant floral arrangements for sale in the show’s Marketplace.

On Saturday, March 16, jig your way over from the downtown parade on the free trolley from Michigan Avenue to Navy Pier for petal-packed St. Patty’s fun. Mariano’s Fresh Market will offer a 45-minute, just-for-kids floral workshop at 1:30 p.m., teaching children of all ages how to care for and arrange flowers, as they create a colorful bouquet to take home. The 2013 Chicago Flower & Garden Show is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Show parking starts as low as $10 at the Navy Pier East and West garages. Click here for public transportation options to Navy Pier.
