Navy Pier presents JUST DANCE! From June 22-23, 29-30 and July 1, the northwest corner of Pier Park will have some of Chicago’s best dance troupes, companies and schools! This event is free for all so bring the whole family!
Opening Day
JUST DANCE! kicks off on Friday June 22 with the McNulty Irish Dancers at 12 pm. The McNulty Irish Dancers is a constantly changing assortment of troupes assembled from the 350 plus children to adults who study with Barbara McNulty and her assistants at the McNulty School of Irish Dance. These dancers will captivate you with the beautiful, powerful dances of Ireland. Featuring Chicago’s favorite Celtic music accompanying the dancers, this will be a unique performance featuring a balance of music and dance. Drawing on the popularity of Riverdance, the McNulty Irish Dancers appeal to a much broader audience than simply Celtic and folk music fans!
In addition, the Hip Hop Dance Ensemble, Maywood Fine Arts and Legacy Dance will round off the opening day performances, which run until 4 pm.
