I really enjoyed the show I was some what disappointed in the marketplace, This is a flower and garden show , what did mattress have to do with it I loved that you had Marianos , need more garden support, weather it be healthy eating , and tools , and why has Chicago Bontanials not had a display or the Abortum from Lisle I thought the floral design classes were great and Home depot was good to but there need to be more of that and less of let check your back and feet. More Garden books ,seeds, tools , local farmer markets, organic foods cooking , the cakes are beautiful but unless your having a tea party in your garden what do they have to do with gardening, why not have more like a health salad bar or a garden party, show people how to grow food even if they live in the city, show more of the gardening clubs and community gardens anyway thats my 2 cents I really enjoyed the show it was beautiful and looking forward to next year Monica Dunlap

Thanks for your feedback, Monica! The Chicago Flower & Garden Show changes year to year and it definitely helps to hear what our visitors would like to see more of next year!

I enjoyed the show, but also found the marketplace to be somewhat disappointing. Need more garden related vendors, especially tools, garden ornaments etc. Loved it when you had the ironwork vendor a few years ago. I realize it changes year to year, so looking forward to next year!

This was my first visit to the Chicago Flower and Garden show, and while I did enjoy myself I felt it didn’t live up to my expectations. Perhaps I had set them too high because I had been to WONDERFUL shows in much smaller cities. I thought Chicago would blow them away. The displays were beautiful, some very talented participants. My biggest complaint would have to be the vendor area. I echo the concerns mentioned above but also add my extreme frustration with the organizers and their guide material. It’s actually what brought me here so many weeks later. I’m STILL trying to find the name of a vendor I saw at the show. The guide book is poorly mapped in the back and the vendors don’t match up to their spots or aren’t even listed in some case. And the website for the show STILL has the map area listed as “coming soon”…same as it was the weeks before the show! I’ll try next years, but my expectations are very very low.
