Pinot Days | Navy Pier

Wine lovers, it’s finally that time of year again. Pinot Days is headed back to Chicago! This national tour brings together the best domestic and international Pinot Noir producers for a day of wine sampling and education.

Join us at Navy Pier this Saturday, April 20 for a chance to taste a great group of red wines, as different from one another as the places they hail, and to celebrate the art of taking grapes and blending them into one incredible bottle.

This year, 65 wineries, largely hailing from California, Oregon, and New Zealand, will venture out to Navy Pier’s Lakeview Terrace for an intimate day of wine tasting. The event will feature over 150 Pinot Noirs from producers like Benovia Winery, Kendric Vineyards, Lauterbach Cellars, Riverbench Vineyard and Winery, and Scoperta Imports. Some of the wines that will be on hand day-of were previously unavailable in Illinois—talk about getting an insider’s taste!

Pinot Days is the cornerstone of the Bay Area Wine Project. The group provides information about wine-related events in the greater Bay Area and acts as a hub for wine education, wine “trivia,” and various articles and reviews about restaurants, wineries, and tastings. But one of their favorite projects is bringing wine awareness to other U.S. cities with Pinot Days!

The event is limited to 1000 attendees who will get to enjoy the massive Grand Festival Public Tasting from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Or for a more in-depth experience, visitors are invited to purchase tickets to the VIP Seminar Session with early access to the festival; arrive two hours before the general public and enjoy a sit-down tasting with four different wineries as well as special wine discounts.

For ticket information, head here. We can’t wait to raise a glass to you this Saturday!
