But some folks find it hard to scrounge up the love for winter. Here in Chicago, we’re always going to have a love/hate relationship with the cold, and oftentimes snowstorm-heavy, season, but here at the Pier our goal is to celebrate the best parts of winter and prove to our guests that winter isn’t all bad, in fact it can be a whole lot of fun!
How are we celebrating winter right now? At the 12th annual Winter WonderFest at Navy Pier presented by Bank of America! Bring the friends and family for a whole day of whirling and twirling on rides, slides, and obstacle courses, ice skating on our Arctic Ice Skating Rink, visiting with Santa, and more!
But the party doesn’t end with Winter WonderFest’s final day on January 6. Later in the month of January, we’re bringing back our popular Snow Days Chicago at Navy Pier!
January 25- 27, head out to Navy Pier’s Gateway Park for a snow and ice extravaganza!
We’ve brought back everybody’s favorite parts of Snow Days past—the music, the kids’ activities, the snow sculpting—and don’t be surprised to see a new thing or too.
Of course, the crown jewel of our Snow Days event every year is the massive snow sculpting competition participated in by teams from around the world. Last year’s winners put together some real beauties (it was such a shame they couldn’t be preserved forever) and we expect no less this year!
So get these dates on your calendar and come out and join us for Snow Days Chicago at Navy Pier 2013!
