Winter in Chicago is a mixed bag. Some years we’re terrorized with a Snowmageddon or sub-zero temperatures, which effectively shut down the city, and other years, winter decides not to show up and we have freak days with weather that feels more like spring or summer!

But all in all here at the Pier, we want winter to stay winter because what are the winter months without snowmen, snow forts, or snowball fights?

Just in case winter decides to go AWOL again, the Chicago Children’s Museum has taken precautionary measures with their new exhibit, Snow Much Fun!

Snow Much Fun is the perfect way for kids to enjoy their favorite winter activities without the cold! Pair it up with Winter WonderFest at Navy Pier presented by Bank of America and you have yourself the ideal indoor snow day!

We know the kids are prepared, but are you ready for a battle of epic proportions? Welcome to one massive indoor snowball fight, no mittens needed! Dad may think he’s got an edge on his kids, but that’s only if all the turkey and Christmas cookies haven’t slowed him down too much!

If snowball fights aren’t your scene then head over to our snowmen family and dress them up in your favorite fashions. Or build a snow fort out of gigantic “ice” blocks! If they come crashing down, no need to fret; rebuild again and again! And what could be more fun than ditching the shoes and heading out onto the “ice” rink to practice your triple salchows and double lutzes or maybe your basic balance skills?!

Stop by Snow Much Fun today and embrace the motto: NO HAT, NO SNOW SUIT, NO MITTENS ……. NO PROBLEM!
