Spring may have officially begun on March 20, but it isn’t truly spring in Chicago until baseball starts up again for the season. The Chicago White Sox gave the city a show last Monday and now it’s the Chicago Cubs’ turn. Happy Spring, Chicago!
The Cubs are set to take on the Milwaukee Brewers today at 1:20 p.m. and we hope to see that W flag waving above Wrigley Field at the end! Don’t have tickets to the ball game? Not a problem! Come on out to Navy Pier where you can watch the game at one of our great restaurants!
Today sure is a bee-yooo-tiful day for baseball, and there are few better places to catch a Cubs game than Harry Caray’s Tavern! Named after one of the most historic and beloved announcers in baseball’s history, Harry’s will definitely be a sea of Cubbie-blue today and the food and beer will be flowing!
Or “butt in” to the Billy Goat Tavern to catch the game. Some people may say you’re entering at your own risk (ever heard of the curse of the Billy Goat?) but in our opinion it’s well worth it. The “cheezborgers” are out of this world and the atmosphere will be contagious!
If “Cheeseburgers in Paradise” are more your vibe on Cubs game day, make your way to Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville for delicious eats and a vast array of tropical drinks. Jimmy Buffet even has a connection to the Chicago Cubs! Did you know that the first concert at Wrigley Field was performed by Jimmy Buffet back in 2005?
Finally spring and baseball are in the air! Whether your Cubs or White Sox are home or away, we’ll keep the party going! Come on out and join us for a game!
