Come one, come all, to the extended hours at the Chicago Children’s Museum! Now until the end of summer, September 3, the museum will be open Sunday-Wednesday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Thursday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.  This gives you and the little ones plenty of time to enjoy all the hands-on, high action and educational fun the Chicago Children’s Museum has to offer! With all that time to spend, check out one of our favorite new exhibits, Circus Zirkus.

Circus Zirkus

Now you don’t have to worry about your kids running off to join the circus, in our newest exhibit, Circus Zirkus: Where You’re the Star of the Show! Kids become the stars of their own circus!

It’s not every day the circus comes to town, and not every child will be able to experience the magic of seeing a real-live circus act. Circus Zirkus, is a unique and highly interactive circus experience. Kids can prepare for a dazzling performance with costumes and props like Styrofoam dumbbells and actual clown shoes. Once they have practiced backstage they can move in to the center ring to show off their clown routine or plate spinning talents, among many other tings!

Target Free First Sundays!

How else can we make this summer better? How about free admission? Chicago Children’s Museum has partnered with Target to bring you Target Free First Sundays! Everyone 15 and under will receive free admission to the museum on the first Sunday of every month! This extends all day from 10
a.m. to 5 p.m. CCM will also offer hands-on activities and performances for families to keep everyone included in the fun!
