The Pro Thrower Doubles (advanced skills), Backyard Bagger (novice skills), and Singles Division all begin at 12 p.m. The Pro Thrower Singles and the Backyard Bagger Doubles begin at 2 p.m. Players are allowed to compete in both the Singles and Doubles Divisions, as long as they are competing in like divisions.

Each match is played to 21 points, and all participants are guaranteed to play at least two matches. The top two teams will advance to the main draw and play the best two out of three games.

Everyone who participates will take home a Navy Pier Bean Bag Tournament long sleeve Dri-Fit T-shirt, and the top three in each division will win a trophy. First place will also receive a Navy Pier restaurant gift card, and second and third places will receive IMAX tickets. Other prizes include a Riva Crab House gift certificate; a Harry Caray’s Tavern gift certificate; a gift certificate for a Mystic Blue, Odyssey, or Spirit of Chicago dining cruise; Margaritaville gift bags; a bags board set; and Budweiser apparel. No matter how many games you play or how far you get in the competition, everyone is guaranteed to have a great time!

Want to join the fun but don’t want to play in the tourney? Participants of all ages can enter the Long Toss Challenge. It’s a $1 buy-in, and the player who tosses the bag into the hole from the furthest distance wins! First place gets a payout of 30%, and second place gets 20%.
