Winter WonderFest at Navy Pier presented by Bank of America

We’re already into week three of our 12th annual Winter WonderFest at Navy Pier presented by Bank of America and the party’s in full swing!

If you haven’t stopped by yet, you simply must! Our winter celebration is the talk of the town, and nothing more so than all the fabulous rides we pack into Festival Hall! This year we’ve brought back everyone’s favorites from last year, plus more!

Since it’s impossible to describe all our rides (you just need to come down to visit us and try them out for yourself), here’s a small taste of a few of them:

Our Ferris wheel: Everybody loves our grand outdoor Ferris wheel and at Winter WonderFest, we’ve got her little 50-ft sister! You can still ride the bigger outdoor version, which runs all year weather-permitting, but if you want to leave the hat and coat behind, our indoor version is the perfect substitute!

Reindeer Express Train Ride: The CTA, Metra, and Amtrak have nothing on our Reindeer Express Train Ride which travels more than 300-feet around a spectacular Christmas display and has enough room to fit the whole family!

Zero Gravity: If you’re brave enough, hop aboard this spinning contraption that holds riders to the wall by sheer Winter WonderFest force, even as they’re tilted at a crazy 45-degree angle!

Arctic Ice Skating Rink: And no visit to Winter WonderFest is complete without a whirl around the indoor ice skating rink! Buy a Premium Wristband and get your ice skate rental for free or bring your own pair!

Remember, ‘tis the season for too much fun. We can’t wait to see you at the Pier!

I have visited Winter Wonderfest for the past 4 years. This year my family and I had a blast, however, what brought concerns to my attention were sanitation precautions such as ice skating…I feel the workers or the creator of such a beautiful attraction should provide santiation shoe spray like those provided when one is to go bowling( red flag) foot fungus could occur…Also I think hand sanitizer should be posted near the entrance and exist of each attraction to eliminate germs being spreaded by the numerous of spectators. :-(

Great suggestions! Thanks for bringing them to our attention and for joining us for Winter WonderFest this year!
