‘Tis the season to be jolly, and we have so much fun planned for you! Join us at Winter WonderFest at Navy Pier presented by Bank of America this year to experience the fun you know and love and to check out all the new rides and attractions we’ve added!
Of course, you’ll be able to enjoy the Chicago Blackhawks Indoor Ice Rink, frolic in Winter WonderTown, and take pictures with the giant decorated tree as in past seasons, but this year there’s more! We’ve introduced some new rides to Winter WonderFest to make it an exhilarating experience for new and returning attendees alike. When you come visit this season, make sure you try the new Ice Line Express! It’s a 28-foot zip-line that flies you through the Winter WonderAir! If you get nervous once you’re at the top, don’t worry; you have the option of sliding down instead!
Definitely make a point to spend some time spinning round and round in the new Hot Cocoa Cups, a beloved attraction worldwide! (Just make sure you save the hot cocoa drinking for after the ride, in case you get too dizzy.) You can also topple your way through a dual-lane inflatable Arctic Plunge with polar bears and penguins at your side! Doesn’t that sound like a winter dream-come-true?
And last, but not least, we’ve managed to get Santa and Mrs. Claus to join us at Winter WonderFest under the Giant Tree to hear the Christmas wishes of all the little boys and girls! It wouldn’t be Christmas without a visit to Santa.
As you can see, we’ve added so many fun things to make your Winter WonderFest experience better than ever. Don’t take our word for it, though; pick up your activity wristbands and check out the new attractions for yourself!
Admission to Winter WonderFest is free, but an activity wristband purchase is required to participate in rides and attractions within the event. The two Individual activity wristbands options are:
Premium Wristband (includes Chicago Blackhawks indoor ice skating)
$20 at box office / $17 online (online service fees apply)
Regular Wristband (excludes indoor ice skating)
$16 at box office / $13 online (online service fees apply)
Winter WonderFest can’t stay forever (the last day is January 12th), so don’t miss your chance for a magical day at Navy Pier! Also, stay tuned to the blog for Winter WonderFest Part 2 – What Not to Miss. We have so much going on; it won’t fit into just one post!
